Curried Shrimp

For this recipe there is no conversion. The recipe will work with both British and American measurements.


1 cup skim milk

1 chicken bouillon cube

½ c chopped onion

1c pineapple chunks

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp flour

1 ½ tsp curry powder

1 ½ tsp lemon juice

2 c frozen cooked shrimp

1 ½ tsp chili powder

Hot Cooked Rice


In a small sauce pan, heat the milk and bouillon stirring until bouillon in dissolved. Set aside

In a large sauce pan, sauté pineapple and onions in oil until tender. Stir in flour, curry powder, and chili powder. Gradually add milk mixture and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and add the shrimp. Cook till shrimp are done and sauce is thickened. Serve over rice.
