2 cups/340g flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda/bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp baking powder
2/3 c/157ml vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1/2c/115g sour(ed) cream
1c/270g mashed banana
1c/100g nut of your choice ( I like walnut pieces, though pecan is very good as well)
Cream the oil, egg, and sugar. Add the sour(ed) cream, bananas. Mix in the dry ingredients, adding the nuts last after everything is combined.
The batter will be the consistency of cake batter.
Pour batter into a greased 9inx9in (23cmx23cm), or 2 bread pans and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit/ 170 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes to an hour or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the middle. I would start checking on it around the 20 minute mark as every oven varies.
