16 strips of bacon(streaky bacon)
1 large onion(chopped)
250g/1lb frozen pre-cooked shrimp(large)
1 220ml/8oz jar of your favorite bbq sauce
Cut the bacon into bite sized pieces and pan fry until cooked through. I will be hard to get them crispy if you cook them all at once, but they won’t stay crispy in the sauce so don’t worry about it.
Cook your onion in the drippings of the bacon.
Transfer bacon and onion into a pot and add the frozen shrimp and BBQ sauce and warm over medium heat until shrimp is warmed through. Do not over cook as the shrimp will turn rubbery. Serve over rice.
